You will have to crouch a good portion of the time inside this cave. Narrow spaces make this place hard for larger groups to fight without hitting each other. Onychonycteris and Araneomorphus live in this cramped cave. Spelunkers must take a treacherous cliffside path and crouch to gain entrance.

This cave has the Artifact of the Skylord in its depths. Onychonycteris can swoop in fast and get behind you but go down easily enough with well placed ranged shots. Araneomorphus will also spit webs at you which will slow your movement. Both Pulmonoscorpius and Araneomorphus will inject poison that will knock you out if they manage to land melee hits on you. Pulmonoscorpius (scorpions), Araneomorphus (spiders), and Onychonycteris (bats) all spawn here as well so be sure to bring plenty of ranged ammo with you. If you chose not to risk death too much just keep following the wall ledge and it will lead you the same way, eventually. You will easily see this as it looks like a bridge with a gap. There is a shortcut about halfway through the cave that requires a risky jump. It's a simple task of following these ledges all the way around the walls of the cave to get to the bottom. After a short swim through water the rest of this cave is a massive hole with ledges leading down. Expect low temperatures and dangerous jumps in this cave.

This cave has the Artifact of the Devourer hidden somewhere inside. Each cave also has certain conditions like really hot or really cold along with jumps that must be made and small spaces. Note, you may only carry one of each type of artifact at any given time. The artifacts are contained within floating upside-down pyramid-shaped boxes with a white glow. These artifacts are needed to summon the endgame bosses at the obelisks. Each of the land based caves is home to a special artifact that is only found in that cave.
